Priceless

One remembers each year and never fails to recognize the small triumph I overcame.

Another one said it's good to be reminded of these things, just so we don't forget how God has been good to us.

The others expressed their joy, congratulated, cheered and sent wishes for good health.

And last but not least one said she's glad I am happy, and thinks it was better that I forgot about it coz that means I'm living a normal happy life.

Got these messages from friends who are near and dear to my heart reacting to the recent achievement I had.

Words that are very touching...  strikes a chord...  words that fill my heart with joy, so simple and yet so powerful. They are priceless.

Four years and counting

May 4th or around this time marked the last day of my chemo treatment in 2009.  It's been four years as of yesterday.  Time flies. Really.

The chemo treatments, the most challenging phase I have ever faced, now feels like a blur.  Memories of it still gives me shivers down my spine when it comes to mind.  But with every set backs comes opportunities, something positive arises.  I saw that phase as an opportunity to look at life differently.  It sounds like a cliche but that's what happened.  The birds chirping, the flowers blooming, the beautiful sky, our children, my husband and family.  Everything.  Everything happens for a reason doesn't it?

So join me in doing a little happy dance for this personal achievement that, to me, makes life sweet.
